Endeavour’s Final Journey
The Space Shuttle Endeavour flies over Los Angeles International Airport on its final flight before moving to its permanent home at the California Science Center. Endeavour was transported atop a modified 747 known as a Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, or SCA. The shuttle flew over many Los Angeles area landmarks before landing at the airport on Friday, September 21, 2012 in Los Angeles, Calif.
